Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of plastic packaging designed for many markets, namely food and chemicals.

Their portfolio is extensive including injection moulded containers such as buckets, pallets, boxes etc.
Our client has asked us to source a sales professional who will be field based covering the South-East region selling to all sectors.

Job Title: Business Development Manager
Industry: Plastic packaging, plastic containers, injection moulded containers
Location: South East
Package: up to £45,000 on the basic salary, with OTE of £55,000 upwards.

The Business Development Manager role:

, Predominantly new business development selling plastic containers, plastic packaging designed for industrial usage.
, Selling the whole range of plastic packaging solutions
Working closely with marketing to organise and follow up on marketing campaigns
, Based from home, managing the sales process from the generation of appointment to presenting and closing sales at all levels at customer site, account management and development there after
, Working closely with internal sales support, engineering and management, who will assist you to achieve company and your personal goals

Suitable Business Development candidates

, Will have sold plastic packaging in a field sales capacity, ideally covering containers, crates, pallets, boxes, and buckets.
, Will be new business focussed, happy working from home managing your own territory
, Be happy working on vertical campaigns, working alongside the sales support and marketing teams.
, Be a strong communicator who is happy managing the sales process from concept to delivery, selling standard and bespoke designed solutions to specification
, Be a positive and focussed team player with a strong attention to detail.

The Business Development Manager Package:

Basic salary of circa £45,000 depending on experience alongside an aggressive commission structure equating to a minimum of £10,000 in commission a year.
