Service Desk Lead

Are you an experienced Service Desk or IT professional looking to take on a new challenge? If so Viridor are recruiting and are looking for individuals just like you!

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Service Desk Lead for our team in Taunton, working 37.5 hours a week.

In return for your hard work as our Service Desk Lead, we can offer a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits, including:

The ideal Service Desk Lead:



* ITIL Service Management framework experience


* Degree level or equivalent


* Excellent problem solving skills


* Knowledge of asset, config and licence management


Service Desk Lead Responsibilities include:



* Delivering the first point of contact service for all Vidor customers in relation to IT.


* Ensuring the team has the necessary skills, experience and knowledge to deliver the service.


* Act as the initial escalation point and work in close collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager


* Responsible for providing 1st/2nd line support in line with processes/procedures, including liaising with 3rd party suppliers where necessary.


* Ensure that all incidents, service and change requests are logged, monitored and assigned as appropriate.
