Set on the outskirts of historic Chester and surrounded by 12 acres of landscaped gardens, the Doubletree Chester Hotel & Spa comprises 140 bedrooms, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, Lounge Bar and Brasserie, 7 banqueting and meeting rooms and Spa.

In this role you will be working for Valor Hospitality Europe which is part of a leading US hotel management company with over 19 properties in the UK operating a number of recognised worldwide brands and exciting expansion plans to add more hotels in the UK and Europe..

Main Duties:

The Wedding Co-ordinator role involves a range of duties to ensure that we have all the information to provide a truly memorable experience and surpass all expectations for the wedding of our guests.

Taking the initial enquiry, carrying out showrounds, arranging the menu tasting, drinks receptions, room layouts, table plans, event timings, you will ensure all information is accurate.

Attention to detail is paramount so that we gain a thorough understanding on our guests wishes and guide them through the events of the day.

Regularly reviewing information you will identify opportunities for upselling as you monitor progress with the arrangements and liaise with other hotel departments.

Previous experience

The successful applicant must have previous experience in hospitality working in a similar role in hotel or conference related environment with proven record of displaying attention to detail and demonstrating a high level of customer service.

Working in an administration/reception background you will be computer literate and able to work flexible hours on any day of the week.
