A fantastic opportunity has come up with my client, a leading technology company, for a European Payroll Specialist on a 6 month and potentially ongoing contract.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate and timely international payroll service for European countries.

  • To provide all payroll related statutory reports to all country authorities whilst ensuring 100% SOX compliance across all countries.

  • Ensuring any data requirements to 3rd party providers are complete to ensure all tax implications are considered and mitigated.

  • Supporting finance with month end reconciliation and year-end activities relating to payroll.

  • Support HR Advisors with complex query resolution relating to payroll.

  • Managing the key relationships between payroll vendors and external council and advisors.

  • Providing specialist payroll advice to HR Service Centre employees where required.

  • Assist the current payroll team with the transfer of payrolls from one outsourced vendor to a new one during Payroll Transformation Project.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be fluent in a European language as well as English.

  • Have experience in processing EU and UK Payroll.

  • Have a good knowledge of SOX processes.

  • Have parallel run testing experience.

  • Be able to work from the Basingstoke office one day a fortnight.

Desirable Experience

  • EMEA Payroll experience
