Principal Web Developer w/ TS SCI -Washington, DC.

In support of our Enterprise Cyber Network Defense program, GDIT seeks a skilled Senior Web Based Software Developer that will deliver impactful Cyber Security contributions that will be highly visible throughout the Intelligence Community.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the analysis, development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of several applications across the customer's enterprise.

The candidate must have related experience with programming languages and tools, as well as database integration and management.

Supported technologies and products include: Java, Python, Splunk, ExtJS 4, Node.js, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, CSS and Web Scrapping utilities.

Functional duties consist of:

  • Performing complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.

  • Performing systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.

  • Planning upgrades of operating systems and designs systems enhancements.

  • Developing documentation on new or existing systems.

  • Developing and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.

  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving system problems.

  • Providing system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.

  • Determining system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

  • Providing guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers and may have supervisory responsibility.

  • May serve as a technical team or task lead.

  • Serves as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.

  • Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

  • Participating in special projects as required.

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

    The contract position requires:

    • 8 years of related experience in web software development.

    • TS/SCI & CI Poly.

    • DOD8570 IAT-II certification.
