Level 3 Systems Engineer - Contract Dublin



Our client has a great opportunity for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to complement their growing team.



As the IT Systems Engineer your focus will be to provide a high level of professionalism and service and be responsible for collaborating with the IT Infrastructure Team to provide implementation and level 3 support and assist in the administration of the server, network and application infrastructure.



Qualifications & Experience



  • Degree in an IT related subject

  • Minimum 3 years' experience with windows

  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong troubleshooting skills

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification would be advantageous


Candidates must have:



  • Experience as a Systems Engineer.

  • Experience administering firewalls, switches and routers.

  • Extensive technical experience in building servers, and maintaining a network environment.

  • Demonstrated experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.



  • Microsoft Office 365 (migration, support and management) desired



  • Demonstrated experience with Active Directory / Group Policy

  • VMware experience essential.

  • Sound ability to quickly identify and diagnose errors and resolve these logically in a short time frame.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to resolve complex hardware and software faults
