Graphics QA Operator

Sable & Proctor are looking to recruit a Graphics QA Operator on behalf of an international packaging client who produce work for some of the biggest brands in the world.

As a Graphics operator you will be required to assess incoming files against our Print Specifications and PPM notes and QC/QA files leaving the Graphics Department ensuring they meet the required specification within designated timeline.

·IT Literate, specifically in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of Apple Mac's & Adobe Creative Suite.
·Good organisational, problem solving, skills
·Well-rounded communicator with the potential to liaise with all levels in the organisation, including customers.
·Good understanding of the impact of their role to the wider business and its customers.

·Provide an administrative support to the Graphics & Technical departments.
·Downloading files and perform a Fit for Use process and generate Artwork report.
·Performing Fit for Use process to ensure files supplied are to agreed specification within the time constraints for the customer & technical department.
·Print Process/Trappings to assist with Fit for Use/Booking in process.
·Developing an understanding of digital print
·Learning automated work processes & assisting future development.
·Working as a QC/QA check of graphic files prior to release, both internally & externally
·Help develop processes & procedures, SOP's & project development moving forward for Graphics & Technical departments.

In addition to these functions, employees are required to:
·Support as appropriate with housekeeping duties
·Carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required across the manufacturing area.
·Take responsibility for their own and others' health and safety in the working environment.

·37.5 hours per week (3 shift pattern)
·20 days increasing by 2 to 26 (Max) + 8 Bank Holidays
