Support Worker/ Health Care Assistant

Safehands are looking for experienced staff who are looking to work within; residential, nursing, supported living and educational environments.

We are seeking people that are passionate about providing person centred care, who strive to make a difference within an individual’s life.

Your typical duties can include:

  • To support Students with varied and complex disabilities to maintain their health and wellbeing while they enjoy and achieve to their potential.
  • To support students within an educational setting in line with OFSTED.
  • Support elderly residents with; dementia, Alzheimer’s, end of life care
  • Support residents who can demonstrate physical and verbal Challenging Behaviour
  • Support residents on a 1:1 basis
  • Supporting Clients with in-house activities and promoting independence
  • To deliver all aspects of personal care in line with CQC and care plans including washing, dressing, oral, toileting and feeding.
  • Support with domestic duties and food preparation
  • Assist with personal finances
  • To ensure all records and documentation are accurate and maintained.
