A young Swiss based start-up is looking to double their workforce in 2018.

As part of their planned expansion, they are recruiting for a Marketing Manager who can represent their unique med-tech product to vets and clinics whilst also hunting for new ones.

Their product offers their customers an easy, comprehensive and high-precision vital sign detecting solution for horses.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to generate leads and increase brand awareness

  • Implement innovative ideas in communication, advertising and sales

  • Digitalise Marketing: Webseiten Management (Wordpress), SEM, Social Media, Blog, CRM

  • Observation and analysis of the market, including competitors and trends

  • Organization of events and fairs

  • Close collaboration with the development, sales and business team, as well as veterinarians for the further development of the product and sales market: improvements, expansion into new countries, new areas of application, etc.

  • Communication activities, such as positioning articles in subject and medical publications, brand ambassador management, etc

Ideal candidate will:

  • Experience in marketing (traditional and digital marketing), ideally in the B2B area

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, gift for copy writing and content creation, good eye for design and enjoyment of design

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and find creative solutions to problems whilst being proactive (looking for someone who does not need step-by-step instructions)

  • Excellent German and English knowledge

  • You are familiar with the usual Office (ideally Mac) and Adobe Suite programs
