Field Sales / Telesales / Sales Executive
Business Development Sales Executive - Wokingham - £20,000-£23,000 + commission, achievable OTE £40,000, mileage allowance, laptop, iPad and mobile phone.
I am currently recruiting for a large Facilities organisation based in Wokingham for a Business Development Sales Executive.
The ideal candidate would have at least one years Sales or telesales experience and must own a car.
The role will cover the RG postcode and surrounding areas.
As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving our business as we continue to expand.
You will be required to:
- Spend 2-3 days per week telemarketing and prospecting for new business from our Wokingham Head Office
- Utilise various research methods to target businesses and their key contacts, including online tools such as LinkedIn
- Book a minimum of 6 qualified appointments per week in your designated area
- Travel to the prospective customer sites to attend appointments, survey buildings and provide quotes for daily cleaning services
- Responsible for price negotiations and objection handling
- Create and maintain new business relationships and manage the sale through to close.
A typical sales cycle is 4 - 6 weeks
Please note that this role is responsible for generating new business; it is not Account Management.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good communication skills
- Strong desire to succeed
- A minimum of 12 months sales or telemarketing experience
- Drive and tenacity
- Excellent prospecting skills
- Valid UK driver's licence
Experience in the services sector would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
