Payroll Manager

Our successful, national client based in Crewe have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract for approximately 3-6 months.

Our client offers an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Manager to become a member of a fast-paced team, within a growing business; they are already the UKs largest operator in their field.

Job Description:

As a Payroll Manager you will complete the following tasks:-

  • Managing a team of 3 Payroll Administrators

  • Supporting weekly and monthly payrolls (total number of employees circa 1000)

  • Assisting with the transitioning of payrolls from existing system to a new one

For the Payroll Manager role, it would be good to see candidates with:

  • A strong background in payroll

  • Ability to manage the workload of a small team

  • Excellent eye for detail

  • Excellent communicator at all levels

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Experience of transitioning payrolls would be desirable

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm (can be flexible on start/finish time)

Salary: £45,000 per annum
