Team Leader - Learning difficulties

Team Leader Role: Set in the rural East Sussex, you will work under the direction of the Registered Manager to deliver quality care to children aged 8-17yrs with learning difficulties and associated challenging behaviours.

You will run shifts, demonstrating an ability to lead, direct and develop other team members, and to ensure that the service is working to all internal and external policy and procedures.

The Team Leader will be passionate about providing quality care and have a strong desire to help children to develop their skills and to promote their independence.

The shift pattern is early's lates and the odd long day.

Team Manager Criteria: You will have significant senior experience within a residential care service for children and young people and hold a minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young people.

Supervisory experience is required, as is the ability to demonstrate and awareness and experience of leading and developing others.
