Part Time Accounts Assistant

Our Eynsham based Group Company is now looking to grow its finance team.

Working on a 20 to 25 hrs.

per week over 5 days (Mon to Fri)

Working directly with accounts to help to maintain the office and keep it running smoothly.

As well as helping the office manager with customers and external agencies.

Other duties and responsibilities of the job include:

  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.

  • Preparing statutory accounts.

  • Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.

  • Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.

  • Managing petty cash transactions.

  • Controlling credit and chasing debt.

  • Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.

The person:

  • Must be Sage Line 50 experienced

  • Able to multi task

  • Customer facing and able to offer flexibly to duties carried out

  • Have a great sense of humour and outgoing personality

  • Able to commit to 20 to 25x hour per week spread over 5x working days
