The kitchen provides fabulous and passionately cooked fresh menu items for breakfast, lunchtime and dinner services, and can cater for up to 60 covers.
The restaurant has been endorsed with rosettes offering guaranteed and proven guest experiences, which are both amazing and complimentary.

Key Features of the Role:
Working in a team of 4 Chefs per shift you will be a trusted member of the team, as the Sous Chef position is extremely important to the Head Chef, leading the team in their absence and be a figure head or mentor to others.
Producing an award-winning standard of food for both hotel and walk in trade, sometimes working a split shift or a straight shift.
All the food is fresh and meals are prepared and cooked to order, with the core of the menu having a proven modern British theme to it, with seasonal variations and influences from other cuisines, to produce outstanding dishes every time.
For the Sous Chef who can show the right work ethic, skill, attitude and aptitude, the Company will also offer very lucrative tips, which could earn you up to £110 per week extra, as well as a bonus scheme on top of your basic salary.
Working a 5 day working week and an average of 45 hours, once the kitchen team is fully staffed this could drop down to a 4.5 day week.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
To be successful in this role you will need to be an accomplished Sous Chef who is working in an award-winning kitchen team or venue and must have your own transport to get to work every day.
Relevant catering qualifications.
Ideally Rosette or Michelin award restaurant experience
Have worked in a fresh food kitchen and be confident working all stations in a kitchen.
Managed and or leading a team of Chefs.
Physically robust and able to handle the requirements of service in a 60 cover restaurant, and the attention to detail required in a rosette awarded kitchen.
Emotionally robust and able to handle the pressure of a busy lunchtime and or evening service.


Effective and professional communicator, who can interact with a team and work together to get the job done, and the mentality to get stuck in to help out a fellow Chef if they are in the weeds.

What’s on Offer?
A successful Sous Chef will be paid between £28K - £30K basic salary depending on experience and trial interview scores.
Weekly tips averaging about £110 per week.
Bonus scheme, details to be discuss at interview.
Full time permanent opportunity in a rosette awarded restaurant kitchen.
Career progression in a business with multiple sites and expansion plans to grow this year.
2 days off per week, potentially leading to 2.5 days off per week.
Nest Pension.
Free Parking on site.
Christmas and Boxing Day off!
