Home Manager - County Antrim

4Recruitment Services are currently seeking a Home Manager to work within County Antrim.

Contract: Full-Time Permanent

Are you a passionate and organised Home Manager with previous Management Experience of at least one year?

About the Home -

The home is a beautiful home situated in County Antrim.

This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia.

This is a Large Home based in a lovely rural area.

The home is furnished to a very high standard, has excellent amenities and a dedicated area for dementia care, this is in place to enable the residents to maintain their independence in a safe and warming environment.

Our clients activity programme ensures that the residents remain stimulated and engaged,  the activity coordinators take into account resident’s hobbies, needs and interests.

The client offers various activities and always strive to ensure that the residents are enjoying themselves, residents can receive a wide range of health and fitness benefits from taking part.


What you will be doing -

  • Responsible for the 24-Hour smooth running of the home
  • Must have strong leadership and organisational skills to ensure high standards of care and business efficiency
  • Ability to prepare monthly reports collected for the Board of Directors and the Care Quality Commission
  • Good communication skills are essential to liaise with the residents’ families, friends, GP, community nurses, specialist, pharmacists, local authorities, local councils, voluntary bodies and any other associations related to the care for the elderly

What You will need -

  • You must have sustained Good CQC in an Independent care home facility (non charity) for a minimum of 2 reports
  • Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.

    Disclosure expense will be met by applicant.

    The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010
  • Two years previous experience at Deputy Manager level is essential although previous Home Manager experience preferred
  • NVQ level 5 or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Minimum 50 bed home experience
  • Private funding background and Commercial acumen
