My client are an industry leader within the Lighting industry, Covering a number of contracts throughout the South Wales/South West UK

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the South Wales/South West UK area for an experienced Lighting Field Sales Executive you will work with the Sales Department to maximise the sales of the Company's products to electrical wholesalers in your territory


Accountable for:

- Achieving sales revenues within the budget agreed with management.



- Negotiating prices, discounts, rebates and any returns in line with Company guidelines.



- Account management to ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction.



- Maintaining sales administration including the company CRM and Management Information up to date.



Responsibilities and Duties:

You build relationships with our customers to become an extension of their business by providing accurate, honest and timely responses to all opportunities.

You behave and demonstrate at all times, both internally and externally, the core values of the business.

As Field Sales Executive you are responsible for selling to electrical wholesalers in your territory.

This will include visiting and telephoning the resellers to build business relationships, generating and handling sales enquiries, preparing and submitting proposals and quotations, closing sales and liaising with customers and potential customers in a manner to ensure the commercial success of the Company.



You are responsible for the ongoing account management of the wholesalers by maintaining and developing strong commercial relationships with them, and their clients as appropriate.

This will be via regular telephone calls, email, visits and presentations, to ensure the wholesalers are committed to and actively promoting the Company's products.

You are responsible for efficiently resolving any outstanding issues, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.




It is your duty to sell the features and benefits of The Company as a supplier; highlighting the Company's support offerings including stocks held for next day delivery on orders by 5p.m., 5 year extended warranty on products, ISO accredited, member of LIA and LIAQA accredited, products listed on Luckins, and Case Studies available.



You will also promote the financial and environmental benefits from products, as well as explaining the technical features of the products and commercial benefits.



In addition you will be required to carry out sales related administration tasks; including maintaining up-to-date information on all customer interactions in the CRM database including your diary, recording visits, actions and opportunities, providing accurate management information as requested including forecasts and gap reports, ensuring the successful progress of orders through to fulfilment, attending meetings, and performing all reasonable instructions/requests made on behalf of the Company.

You may also be requested to support the requirements of the Directors of the Company.



For ongoing development of yourself and the Company, you are responsible to assess market needs, gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements so as to be able to produce detailed proposals meeting customer requirements.

This will include gathering market, competitor and customer information and updating the Company's systems.



At all times you will work as part of the Sales Team, communicating with your ISS and supporting colleagues to achieve the Company's sales and profit targets.



At all times you must comply with all aspects of the Company's health and safety policy.



At all times you will demonstrate the company's Behaviors in regards to the culture and ethos of the Company


Qualifications/ Experience:

, Excellent sales skills, with experience in the lighting industry and/or electrical wholesaling sector;
, Good communication, customer service and writing skills;
, Able to communicate technical issues, with good presentation skills;
, Excellent organisation, communication and problem solving skills;
, Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision;
, Good interpersonal skills;
, Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, email & internet, and CRM database;
, Driving license and reliable own motor car.




You must have a history within the Lighting sales industry to apply for this position


Package

My client are paying an excellent salary and package, You will be on an yearly pay which will be £32,000 and will depend on experience, You will also receive full training, Company Van, Pension, Health Care, Mobile phone and Laptop
