Facility Assistant

Have you ever considered working within a large public sector organisation? As our client’s first tier preferred supplier, we have a temporary opening for an experienced facility assistant / customer service advisor to work on an adhoc basis within a fast paced, team environment.

In the Facility Assistant Job you will be: 


  • Meeting and greeting, acting as a point of contact for the general public and facility users, undertaking receptionist duties including taking and cancelling bookings
  • Facilitating client needs in respect of conference hire, setting up rooms and equipment
  • Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all areas including reception, toilets, and indoor / outdoor areas and general housekeeping duties
  • Handling cash, operating the till and providing visitor information as required
  • Responsible for general administration duties

To be considered for the Facility Assistant Job you must have:


  • Previous experience working in a customer facing / reception role
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Good IT skills including use of Microsoft packages
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Excellent customer service skills, and a proactive attitude

This is a temporary relief position to commence ASAP.  Working hours are typically 9.30am – 4.30pm but will include weekends and some evenings covering sickness and holidays.  The hourly pay rate is £8.21 per hour plus any accrued holiday time whilst on the assignment.
