PCB Assembler

The Company
Long established electronics design and manufacturing company with a reputation for looking after the people who work for them.

The Job
Interesting and varied assembly role in which you will be responsible for the build of PCBs and electronic assemblies.

The PCB is both through hole and surface mount and requires good hand soldering skills.

Ideally candidates will have worked on surface mount in the past and if not the company are prepared to send you on the appropriate training courses to bring you up to speed.

Much of the work is low volume with each job different from the last.

You will work from drawings and verbal instructions and will work as part of a friendly and well established team.

As the company are prepared to offer training this is an excellent opportunity for someone with just good soldering who would like to expand their skills.

There is little staff turnover within the company giving you great piece of mind and long term job security.

What you will be offered
For someone with just good hand soldering skills the company will offer a starting salary of around £20K, which will increase once they have completed the training and established yourself within the team.

They also offer:
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Full sick pay
A four and a half day week, finishing mid day on Friday

What you will need to have to apply:
All you will need is to be able to solder neatly and have some general electronics of PCB assembly experience.

If you have done some surface mount then that would be an advantage.
