Salary Range: £23,859 + excellent benefits
Hours: 36.5 per week
Contract type: 24 months FTC

We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Rail Programme Support Officer in our West Midlands Rail Programme (WMRP) Team and are looking for professional, pragmatic, energetic, agile and flexible people.

The successful candidates will deliver proactive, timely, responsive and high quality defined corporate support, ensuring confidentiality and appropriate sensitivity on matters involving WMRE and partner organisations.

About us:
The West Midlands Rail Executive (WMRE) is delivering local leadership for local rail services, working with the rail industry to deliver a transformation in rail services across the region.

This is an exciting time for the West Midlands - the Commonwealth Games will be here in 2022, the arrival of HS2 will help make us a world class business location and the WMRP will deliver £120m of rail investment by 2021.

The West Midlands Rail Programme Team is responsible for supporting the WMRE and TfWM's Leadership teams in achieving their key objectives for the region.

As an active member of the team, you will provide excellent standards of customer service to stakeholders and staff.

About the role:
This role will be supporting project boards, engagement leads and development and delivery managers.

This role will require interacting with the public, setting up events, appointment/diary management and will contribute to developing the programme for a successful outcome.
