CLIENT REPORTING

Job description:


Core-Asset Consulting's client a global asset management firm is looking for an individual to join their client reporting team to work on a project.

You will be responsible for working on a centralisation project for the business client reporting.


This role would suit someone from an operations or reporting background who has worked on projects or someone from a wider financial services background who can demonstrate project management experience
VBA/SQL or Python skills would be beneficial


This is an initial 11-month contract, based in Edinburgh.


Core requirements:



  • Knowledge of investment products and preferably 3 years or more of financial services experience, ideally in investment management

  • Proven track record in successful Project delivery, including strong knowledge of;

  • -Project Management methodology and best practices

  • -Business Analysis techniques

  • -Lifecycle of various investment vehicles

  • Understanding of application design concepts, architecture, and infrastructure

  • Experienced in using data provisioning, reporting and/or Business Intelligence tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesise information and summarise issues


Core responsibilities:



  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in support of ongoing initiatives

  • Working with relevant stakeholder (e.g.

    application owners / application user groups / special interest groups) to evaluate system functionality requirements, upstream data dependencies, and business process needs to support client reporting

  • Working with functional SME's to design, analyse & centralise critical Reporting data requirements in support of the project

  • Co-ordinate and Execute delivery of all relevant Reporting work streams

  • Working with Technical Teams on Project Delivery, define test strategy and maintain test & use cases to facilitate user acceptance and regression testing

  • Streamlining requirements across regions, where appropriate, and lead conversations as necessary to affect innovative solutions
