Senior Practitioner Hertfordshire

As a Senior Practitioner your role will be to provide a range of direct information and support for families and carers of disabled children/young people with additional needs aged 0-19 in Hertfordshire.

This will be on the phone, by email/letter and face to face and will include (but not be limited to):



* Helping parents/carers to find activities, support groups and training


* Supporting parents to access information about benefits


* Supporting parents/carers at meetings about their child



* Although the role will ordinarily be within office hours, occasional evening or weekend working/training may be required as agreed with your line manager.


* Travel around Hertfordshire will be required, car driver with access to own vehicle is essential.

This is a part time role - 28 hours per week
