Are you looking to progress a career in Operations - Ocean Freight Forwarding? Our client is a leading global logistics that manages the supply chain & shipping requirements for household brands.

Our client is currently looking to recruit in their Felixstowe office

The Role:

You will be responsible for ocean freight operations both import & export from bookings right through to invoicing.

You will be coordinating freight movements, liaising with the freight forwarders, overseas customers and take responsibility for ensuring all deliveries/bookings are completed to the highest standard.

Also looking after the processes for UK customs clearances, ensure correct charges are highlighted / passed for billing, input relevant shipping data into their freight management systems and handle all customer enquiries when required and in the time scales set.



Essential Criteria



* Strong background in Ocean Freight


* UK Customs Clearance


* Can work in an energetic & fast paced environment


* Excellent communication skills


* High standards of customer service


About the Company:

This is a position with a leading global, household name, logistics provider managing the supply chain & shipping requirements for major key accounts.

You will be part of an energetic and face paced team in Felixstowe.

You will gain valuable experience dealing with shipping documentation, customs compliance/procedures, monitoring shipments & arranging for final delivery.

Salary & Benefits:

Our client is offering between £25k - £27k for the right person.
