Brand Manager - Wound Care

The Role:

Brand Manager Wound Care and Compression Care

  • To manage the co-development of marketing strategies for the Wound care and Compression portfolio, and achieve full tactical implementation to gain maximum return on investment, with best use of resources. 
  • To manage brands, services and channels across all phases of their lifecycle from pre-launch to extending the lifecycle of mature brands, services and channels
  • To develop and implement campaigns, assisting in the effective implementation of these via all relevant platforms, including sales force activity, advertising and publicity across multiple platforms.
  • Developing and implementing marketing plans and tactics
  • Collaborating with colleagues across all departments in the UK and product and clinical teams in Marketing International on new product development projects, including the development of life cycle strategies for the portfolio
  • Project Managing the launch of new products into the UK Market
  • Contributing to decisions on price points for the UK Market
  • Developing and implementing brand Media plans, with budget control
  • Developing,  measuring and reporting the impact of marketing campaigns and promotion materials related to the wound care portfolio
  • Monitoring market trends to inform forecasting decisions and to identify new opportunities where appropriate
  • Conducting/co-ordinating Brand related market research, including obtaining customer feedback
  • Working closely with the clinical services manager and commercial teams to influence health economic and clinical evidence generation based upon brand and market needs
  • Analysing competitor activity and developing tactical argumentation for use by sales teams

The Ideal Person:

  • Ideally Wound Care Background and Prior Sales experience but not essential
  • Must have Brand or Product Marketing Background within Medical Devices
  • Will be a strategic thinker with sound analytical skills and an excellent cross-functional team worker.

    Must have a proven successful track record in meeting the needs of the customer
  • Educated to Degree Level/ CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing CIM or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing and communication methods for the NHS and other healthcare organisations within the UK
  • Product Management experience within UK Healthcare Market
  • Wound care industry knowledge
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting market data
