Surveyor

A Housing Association based in Central London is looking for a Security Systems Surveyor to join their team.

This is a full permanent position and the successful candidate must have a full professional surveying qualification, experience in a housing/local authority setting and experience with security systems.

The Surveyor - Security Systems will be responsible for providing technical advice, surveying and contract administration and support services to service, repair and maintain security systems.

This includes the servicing, testing and maintenance of the systems.
The role responsibilities include the M&E management of automatic door, gate, barrier security and CCTV systems throughout the housing portfolio.

Therefore, evidence of supply chain management is essential.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows;

Responsible for carrying out surveys, coordinating with other functions as appropriate
Manage the implementation of the PPM programme 
Manage the supervision and management of maintenance and PPM contracts, including monitoring of OPIs and KPIs, ensuring all compliance targets are met.
Provide expertise to new business/development on new capital projects as required, including providing expertise as necessary to any formal complaints procedure
Assist on provision of security system advice, including inputting into the formal complaints procedure.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes;

Must have demonstrable track record of training, experience and expertise in security safety system maintenance.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Must have strong contract management experience
Electrical or similar mechanical experience is essential
Social housing experience is preferred but not essential

The client is looking to move quickly with appointing to this role and as such are offering a very competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus a benefits package outlined below;
