CRM Marketing Manager

I am currently recruiting for a CRM Marketing Manager for an extremely successful, Surrey based tour operator.

As the Marketing Manager - CRM is responsible for the creation and development of the CRM strategy using a creative approach to grow the database and effectively segment target audiences to deliver outstanding campaigns.

Supported by the CRM Executive and working with the Digital and Content & Design teams.

The Marketing Manager - CRM will generate high quality enquiries through email and printed direct marketing, to drive acquisitions, increase conversion, improve retention and customer loyalty.

, Develop the annual email and direct marketing strategy with the key objective of enquiry generation and conversion through phone calls, store appointment requests, email enquiries and brochure orders.

, Management and development of CRM Executive.
, Responsible for the CRM budget and annual plan.
, Create best-in-class B2C and B2B emails with basic editing in Adobe Dreamweaver and dispatch through our email service provider (ESP), Pure360.

, Using Faststats and working closely with our data agency, create selections to send highly targeted email campaigns.

, Manage processes for data handling, including subscription requests and opt-outs to ensure compliance with data regulation.
, Co-ordinate with other members of the Marketing & Digital team to drive unified and integrated campaigns.
, Manage end-to-end production of reoccurring DM activity, such as booking anniversary mailings and brochure inserts.
Liaise with partners for obtaining sign off on advertising within the company's communications.

, Suggesting and applying opportunities to enhance data capture and for optimisation of email and direct mail campaigns.

, Develop and implement a dynamic and personalised email strategy relevant to each customer with the use of campaign management software, Single Customer View Faststats and an integrated ESP.

Including the creation of automated trigger emails using dynamic content.

, Work closely with the in-house copywriters and product teams to develop engaging content for email and working with the CRM Exec to structure the yearly email schedule.
, Working with the product teams to schedule optimal coverage of the company's product lines to achieve high engagement levels and to support the commercial needs of the business.

, Work with the Digital team to ensure campaign alignment across multiple channels e.g.

social media and website content.

, Management of the Email Service Provider (ESP) and any email developments considering the ever-changing landscape of email marketing e.g.

deliverability, template development, optimisation, A/B testing.
, Create and enhance automated trigger emails and reoccurring print direct mail campaigns to ensure all touchpoints of the customer journey are being utilised.

Database Management;
o Management of both the data agency and SCV held with the data agency and acting project manager for any data feeds and developments required from our internal data sources e.g.

reservation system, customer surveys etc.
o Ensure processes for customer record management are working correctly and efficiently including customer change and unsubscribe requests.

o Marketing's acting representative to ensure data regulations are adhered to.

, 3 years' experience in a similar role (minimum)
, Proven results in creating engaging email and direct marketing campaigns, increasing retention
, HTML skills for editing content in predefined templates
, Use of an ESP for email management and despatch
, Full understanding of customer journeys, retention, acquisition and engagement
, Previous experience using Google Analytics
, Excellent PC skills - use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
, Good experience with data analysis software (Faststats or similar)
, Ability to present in a clear and concise manner & great attention to detail
, Previous experience with people management
