Adobe Experience Manager Technical Architect owning the overall implementation of AEM for customers, from start to finish.

Key responsibilities:

, Be a global expert in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) technology, as well as the broader Adobe Experience Cloud suite.

, Lead large, multi-solution Consulting engagements with customers and partners that require integrating CRM, eCommerce, campaign, targeting, and social with AEM.
, Build trusted advisor relationships with our clients & partners.
, Provide leadership across all stages of customer engagements, including presales estimations, project initiation, discovery workshops, capturing requirements, build, QA and operations.
, Help to establish overarching digital transformation program goals and objectives for a customer.
, Lead discovery workshops with the ability to understand and articulate customer needs based on limited customer feedback.

Capture & refine requirements and translate them into technical details relevant to AEM.
, Leverage hands-on technical and product skills, as well as digital marketing business acumen, to design the solution architecture in partnership with one or more solution experts.
, Define and articulate technical strategy, project plans and timelines.
, Architect and design AEM component models that will be used to construct digital platforms for both web and mobile for global enterprises.
, Streamline components and templates to work across multiple digital properties.

, Provide technical leadership for the development team, representing them in customer-facing dealings, taking ownership in sprint delivery and resolving functional and technical issues relating to AEM.
, Perform code reviews and ensure that the team adheres to common coding standards.

Lead quality initiatives and make sure that these are enforced in the development team.
, Understand, implement and contribute to AEM best practices within the technical community.

Key Skills required:
, Experience of leading and delivering multiple enterprise level engagements across the whole project lifecycle.

Able to estimate and execute tasks throughout the lifecycle including architecture, discovery, design, development and operations.

, Able to articulate business & architectural solutions and design options/considerations to both technical and non-technical audiences
, Must be able to manage, lead, and influence multiple stakeholders at various levels in challenging situations, manage ambiguity and establish credibility and trust quickly.
, Experience of leading large development teams, both onshore and offshore.
, Experienced software developer/technical architect (Java), with implementation experience of content management systems.

Expertise in AEM and associated technologies like Sling, OSGI, Felix, Jackrabbit, JCR, CRX is a significant advantage.
, Have a deep understanding of Agile delivery practices and the Scrum process.

Experience of structuring and refining user stories, and can work with development teams to break down user stories into tasks.
, Have a deep understanding of omni-channel content delivery practices and solutions.
, Experience of front-end frameworks and working with front end developers and design agencies.
, Experienced in and has good understanding of CSS, JS and HTML
, Good understanding of code quality and the tools required
, Understanding and experience of unit testing and test-driven development
, Understanding and experience of Continuous Integration
, Understanding of architectural concepts including performance and capacity planning, network/infrastructure planning, security architecture, and systems integration
, Be able to work on own initiative without direction for most consulting activities
, Preferably has a Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
, Willingness to travel and work onsite with customers for the majority of the time.
