Working with an industry leading Aviation Technology organisation, Holt Executive are looking to speak to Aviation/Avionic Quality professionals regarding a fantastic new opportunity.



The Avionics Quality Engineer will oversee, develop and maintain quality programs, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies, standards and agency guidelines.

Working directly with our clients Technical Services to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet guidelines.

Audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaise with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of audits.



The Key responsibilities for the Avionics Quality Engineer:


Regulatory Quality Program Monitoring & Authorizations



  • Provide guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance.

  • Audit various companies locations to verify that standards in the field of aircraft line maintenance and component repair are complied with in respect to regulatory, customer and internal Quality requirements.

  • Coordinate legal requests in support of National Aviation Authority investigations or litigations.

  • Approve certifying staff/return to service authorizations.


  • Record any observed non-compliance / non-conformance or unacceptable standards and bring to the attention of the responsible manager and/or individual concerned, any observed non-compliance or poor standards with a time scale for remedial action to be completed.


Quality Process Improvement



  • Ensure the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly.

  • Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality.

  • Develop forms and other documentation relating to promoting high standards of service and quality.

  • Develop and issue Quality procedures for maintaining high standards of service quality and safety.


NAA/Customer Quality Focal



  • Local Quality Assurance Representative for the assigned Repair or Line Maintenance location.


  • Point of contact with the Civil Aviation Authorities for the assigned location.


Key experience required for the Avionics Quality Engineer:



  • Full knowledge of FAA/EASA and any other National Aviation Authority regulations for Repair and Maintenance.

  • Strong computer skills(MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Project, MS Visio)

  • Avionics Product Industry experience preferred.

  • Some experience in maintaining aircraft/aircraft components required.

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related Quality Assurance experience.


  • Experience in the regulatory and quality assurance field.
