Location: Ludlow and surrounding areas
Salary: £9.18 per hour + Holiday Pay
Hours: Both Full time and Part time available

We are currently hiring a Weekend Support Worker to work with individuals in their own homes in the Ludlow and surrounding area.

We are looking for passionate applicants who want to provide the best quality of support helping them maintain their independence in their own homes.

Our staff are involved in all aspects of support, in the person's home - assisting with meal preparation, medication, personal care, washing and dressing.

Supporting individual's out in the community to social and recreational activities, shopping and general appointments.

No day is the same working for Vision Homes Association.

With shifts being over several hours, it allows you to be in the same place for longer periods of time, as well as developing relationships between you and the individual.

What we need from you
We are ideally looking for someone with a positive “can-do” attitude.

Previous paid experience is not essential as we provide full induction training and support.

People join us from many different backgrounds; it's more important to us that you are understanding of the needs of people with disabilities, are reliable and are willing to learn.

Completion of a regular Sleep-In shift is also an expectation of the role which is in addition to your contracted working hours and paid separately, in line with National Living wage regulations.
