The business successfully delivers premium service to clients - throughout Richmond Borough of London - who wish to retain their independence and remain in their own homes.

The Supervisor role is vital in helping ensure that the care team feels supported and appreciated whilst providing the best possible care for clients.

The role will involve:

, Supporting new team members by getting to know their skills and interests and creating a one-page profile.
, Supporting new team members through their induction period.
, Ensuring that team members know what is expected of them through shadowing and ongoing support.
, Ensuring that everyone has uniforms, ID badges and personal protective equipment.
, Undertaking client briefings to ensure that all Care Assistants are familiar with new clients
, Work with the CuraCare Care Coordinator to appropriately match care workers to clients.

Attend the clients first call to introduce the care worker.
, Arrange and manage staff changeovers and briefings for live in care assignments.
, Monitor the performance of care workers and carry out Spot Checks, Supervision and appraisals

There will also be a need to contribute the smooth running of the wider CuraCare team:

, Taking part in the on-call rota
, Covering care visits during periods of sick / absence

, Has driving license
, NVQ level 2 or above.
, Ability to use own initiative and work alone or as part of a team especially in an emergency
, Demonstrated knowledge of up to date practice in manual handling techniques and medication management.
