The Role

You will be an experienced Drylining, Suspended Ceilings, and Plastering Estimator joining a very experienced and committed team.

Responsibilities include:

Reading construction drawings and specifications

Take-off material quantities from drawings.

Compiling bills of quantities

Obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

Calculating costs for labour, plant and materials.

Preparation and submission of tenders

Maintaining records of up to date prices

Liaising with clients and visiting sites.

Business Generation

Using specialised software for preparation of tenders

Administration of all paperwork associated with estimating

Essential Requirements



* Experience in the interior fit out, dry lining and plastering industry


* Strong customer/communication Skills


* Sales and customer service experience


* Excellent time management skills and work prioritization


* Initiative and the ability to manage varying workloads


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Problem Solving and an analytical nature


* Computer literacy and I.T.

skills


Key Skills



* A personable and enthusiastic approach to team working both internally and externally


* Strong IT skills - specifically the Windows Suite and the use of spreadsheets.
