Project Manager (12 Month FTC)
Location: Office based - Scunthorpe
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £44,000 - £49,000

We are now looking for a Project Manager with end to end responsibility for scoping, planning, designing and delivering projects within the Business Unit change portfolio to agreed timescales, costs and quality standards - to support execution of the business strategy, and to operate in line with Nisa Transformation ways of working.

, Project delivers the required outcomes, outputs and business benefits

, Project plan produced and regularly reviewed and updated
, Robust change management plans defined and implemented, with change delivered successfully and sustained
, Risks, issues, dependencies, benefits & cost tracking in place and provided to stakeholders along with timely and accurate reports on progress
, Post implementation reviews conducted and lessons learnt captured and fed into future plans

Main Responsibilities:
, Day-to-day management and coordination of the assigned business change project/s, in line with the Nisa way of working
, Identify and agree the strategic requirements of all relevant parties across the business to establish overall project scope including deliverables, outcomes, change requirements and desired business benefits
, Define and establish the cross-functional team required to support the delivery of the project.

Provide support and direction to the project team (both dedicated roles directly reporting to you and other assigned team members), and drive good project and change management disciplines to improve change execution
, Develop and maintain project plans and budgets which will deliver to stakeholder and business needs and ensure that specific deadlines and milestones are agreed and communicated to all parties involved.

, Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring that they have been recorded adequately and in line with Nisa standards and have owners assigned and mitigating actions in place, with timely escalation in an appropriate manner when required
, Provide appropriate project controls and monitoring to ensure the project is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.

Manage the production of project control documentation and review/update at each stage of the project lifecycle.
, Lead effective stakeholder management, reporting and governance processes to ensure that the delivery progress, risks and issues, costs and benefits are reported regularly and that appropriate decisions can be made
, Ensure maximum efficiency and value for money through robust cost challenge and cost management throughout the project (budgets, estimates, forecasting, resource utilisation)
, Ensure business readiness for implementation / handover, ensuring the organisation effectively adopts and sustains the change so that strategic outcomes and targeted business benefits are achieved
, Maintain knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements relevant to the role.

Support and promote compliance with those requirements within the role and the business.

, Create a culture of continuous improvement within the project team, where feedback is actively sought and acted upon

Job Skills and Competencies:
, Good level of education.
, Experience of project management and change management in a commercial environment - proven track record of successfully defining and delivering change projects
, A project and/or programme management qualification is desirable.
, Substantial knowledge of project management frameworks and governance approaches in a relevant environment
, Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills - able to build & nurture excellent relationships with stakeholders up to a senior level.

Confidence to challenge stakeholders to ensure compliance to defined timescales
, Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confident presenter - able to articulate complex information simply to a variety of audiences
, Strong customer focus and ability to promote this same focus and culture across the wider team.
, Sound commercial and financial awareness
, Financial/cost management capability, including managing budgets, challenging costs & interpreting data.

, Strong planning and organisational skills.
, Ability to co-ordinate the activities of a team - experience in both direct and indirect management of project teams to deliver results
, Experience of third party management in relation to key suppliers, sub-contractors & stakeholders.
, Able to work across functional, cultural and political boundaries

, Proficient in Microsoft applications - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project
