Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager – Mansfield Based, Part time 16 hours per week

Our client is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team on a part-time basis.

In this role you will be an important part of a successful team who are focused on delivering world class business service to firms in North Nottingham and West London area.

A genuine interest in business and an enthusiasm for learning are required for this role.

This is a responsible position requiring a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

The role will suit someone seeking professional work that fits around other life commitments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • You will represent the company in front of prospective clients either in person or on the telephone
  • Your main goal will be to generate quality appointments through creating and maintaining a database of prospects and clients
  • You will largely be required to make telephone calls to follow up to letter mailings.

    A full week of residential training will be given at our lead generation centre in Sheffield
  • Maintaining reports of marketing activity and results
  • You will have the ability, confidence and attitude to get things done quickly and well, using your own initiative

Key Skills:

  • You will love outbound calling to prospects and enjoy the opportunity to talk to business owners and their staff
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years sales and telemarketing experience
  • You will have a clear, confident and captivating voice and telephone manner
  • You will enjoy the chance to work independently and sometimes alone without supervision as home-based work may be required
  • You are able and willing to organise and manage a virtual office, including filing systems, computer systems (in particular Microsoft Dynamics, Excel and email) and general day to day office activity as necessary

What you can expect:

  • Your remuneration package will partially depend upon your experience and skills and will range between £17,800 and £21,750 (to be calculated pro rata based on part-time working hours agreed)
  • You will receive bonus payments based on exceeding targets for paying 1-2-1 coaching clients (On Target Bonuses up to £6,000)
  • You will benefit by having access to a training program where you will get as much assistance as you require through their UK office.

    They will do everything possible to ensure you achieve bonus payments in addition to your base salary
  • Pattern of working hours to be agreed
  • There may occasional work in the evening or early mornings when our client runs seminars or infrequent networking holiday cover (although plenty of notice will be given prior to these occasions)
  • You will receive continuous education including books and materials to improve your skills and your knowledge
  • You will be invited to various prestigious awards ceremonies, seminars and social events throughout the year
