Payroll Officer

This role would be suitable for any recent graduates of a finance related course, or candidates recently qualified in a finance capacity, or somebody who has years of experience in payroll.

Knowledge of itrent is desirable, however training on this will be provided.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
 Process all data onto the payroll system to ensure salary adjustments are reflected.

 Chase unpaid invoices
 Ensure sick days and holidays are tracked.
 Ensure compliance with company policy on all elements of payroll and take appropriate action when required.
 Ensure all payroll activity adheres to audit requirements.
 Raise month end payments as required.
 Issue pension forms as required.
 Support the T&A system in relation to all payroll activity.
 Create and maintain employee data on the HR/Payroll systems
 Administrative tasks including the daily filing to ensure efficient and assessable filling and Administration systems are maintained.

Your skills: What you'll need for a great journey
 Previous experience using itrent
 Knowledge of a Time and Attendance system an advantage
 Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
 Excellent written and oral communication - ability to deal with people at all levels
 Accuracy and attention to detail
 Ability to prioritise work flow
