Business Development Executive

Are you an experienced travel professional looking to move into a Business Development / Agency Sales role.

We have an established travel company based in Essex, who have an excellent reputation for delivering high quality tours and travel packages.

This fantastic opportunity will involve working from home to increase brand and product awareness, along with agent visits and account management for key clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Business Development Executive with a proven sales background, looking for a new challenge and to further their sales experience within a fast growing travel company.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

, Business development for key existing business relationships.


, Overall account management for key clients.


, Identify new opportunities and pass these on to relevant people internally.


, Involvement in marketing and promotional material such as brochures, flyers, major enhancements to website etc.


, Involvement in budgeting for marketing & promotions.


, Working with the office based teams to ensure efficient turnaround of quotes and booking confirmations.


, Produce weekly and other performance reports.


, Attend regular client meetings and deliver presentations to clients where necessary.


, Review questionnaires to clients about the quality of tours operated and checking for repeat booking requests.


, Attend trade shows, courses, events and award evenings, including support and assistance when the company exhibits itself to promote company tours and services.


, Research and attend supplier fam trips/educationals throughout the year where required.



SKILLS REQUIRED:

, Previous experience in Sales or Business Development is essential, ideally within a travel background.


, Previous experience in cold calling and/or generating new business from new sales leads.


, Ability to multitask and prioritise daily activity.


, Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.


, Confident to work alone and as part of a team.


, Strong administration, organisational, communication skills and attention to detail essential.


, Good understanding of Social Media; experience in Marketing would be an advantage.


, Must hold a valid Passport and Driving license.



THE PACKAGE:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive starting salary of £25,000.
