Support Worker - Hampshire (Term-time only)

A Support Worker role is available working with children and young people, with complex needs aged between 7-19.

You will assist the young people with their everyday activities, provide support and guidance which is essential for their development.

For your hard work, you will receive fully-funded training, the opportunity to gain further qualifications including the Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce and the opportunity to gain experience from one of the UK's leading care providers!

The hours of the role are term-time only, you will work 38 weeks of the year!

Requirements of the Support Worker include:

  • Previous experience working with children/adults with complex needs including autism spectrum disorder

  • Good standard of written English for report writing

  • Clean UK driving license

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce is desirable

  • Be committed to work weekends, weekdays and sleep-in's

Responsibilities of the Support Worker include:

  • Act as an appropriate role model

  • Provide care, support and assistance at all times

  • Follow Ofsted and the companies rules and regulations

  • Ensure accidents & incidents are reported and handled appropriately

Salary: £17,186.50 plus sleep-in's
