Support Worker - Suffolk

A Residential Support Worker role is available working in 5-bedded children's home with young people aged between 8-18 who have complex needs and emotional behaviour disorders.


As the Residential Support Worker, you are required to help the young people with their development and act as an appropriate role model.

Requirements of the Residential Support Worker include:



  • Have experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours and complex needs

  • Hold a UK driving license

  • An NVQ Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce/Residential Childcare is desirable

  • Be committed to work weekends, weekdays, long hours and sleep-in's


Responsibilities of the Residential Support Worker include:



  • Act an as appropriate role model

  • Contribute to writing care and learning plans

  • Work under Ofsted and the companies guidelines

  • Report incidents appropriately and accordingly

  • Assist the young people at all times


Salary: £18,210 - £20,526 DOE


Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
