We are currently looking for a Account Manager to join a leading biotechnology company based in the Oxfordshire area.
As the Account Manager you will be responsible for managing the pipeline, nurturing current relationships and using initiative to bring on new business.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Account Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing current relationships, managing the pipeline and using your technical knowledge to bring on new business.
You will be selling reagents, instruments and services in one of the most lucrative territories, into top research centres and Biotech companies, engaging with key stake holders to negotiate deals.
It will be your responsibility to arrange meetings and use Challenger software to create new opportunities for the business.
You will be using your technical knowledge and passion for sales to engage customers, answer queries and work towards company targets.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Account Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
Relevant degree in a life science subject at either MSc or PhD level e.g.
Biological Science, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Microbiology.
Proven industry experience in a life science or biotechnology sales environment.
A working knowledge and practical experience with selling product directly to customers and clients within the field.
