Job Description:


The Accounts Assistant role will manage client funded claim bank accounts on behalf of the company and their clients and will manage the production of all monthly or claims related invoices and reconciliations, alongside supporting colleagues within the claims finance team.


Duties and responsibilities:



  • Bank reconciliations

  • Creditor statement reconciliations

  • Debtor statement reconciliations

  • Purchase ledger invoice submissions

  • Reconciling the finance system to the claims management system

  • Handling compensation payments and processing of recoveries

  • To liaise with staff from across the group and external clients


The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant position will be:



  • Previous accounts experience

  • IT Literate including basic understanding of word and strong understanding of Excel

  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work to deadlines whilst prioritising workload

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • The ability to work in a team as well as individually


Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week between the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm


Salary: £17,500 per annum
