Our client is looking for a Technology Support Officer to join their team on a 3 month contract basis, this role could after the initial 2 week induction in Watford be worked from home.


You will Be providing an effective, efficient administration and coordination function that is flexible to meet the needs of the technology teams.


Day to day to duties -


Provide an administrative and coordination function to staff across the technology department to deliver high quality and customer focused support services that facilitate the achievement of the departmental goals.



Work closely with the senior leadership team to support the preparation of ITIL compliant documentation, briefing papers (including referring to and interpreting statistical data), reports, communications and presentations, undertaking research where necessary, and ensuring tasks and actions related to this task are completed accurately and to agreed timelines and format.



Work collaboratively with management colleagues to contribute and deliver against the management team agenda and business plan to enable achievement of service objectives.



Support the timely and accurate processing, collating, monitoring and interpreting of financial, statistical, budgetary information liaising and management reports working with the Commercial Team/Management Accountants and central departments.



Review income and expenditure data, to ensure transactions are properly accounted within the company and relevant external agencies and reported on as part of our monitoring procedures.

To also participate in the monitoring, evaluation and interpretation of budgets and financial reports.



Provide a range of coordination and support services including maintenance of the teams work planning tools, sharepoint sites and other document libraries, information and database systems.

To maximise the use of digital technology systems (including Microsoft office packages) and other services to enable operational management and staff to achieve their service/and personal objectives.



Work with senior management to monitor departmental performance to report on outcomes achieved against performance criteria, preparing reports to highlight achievements and variances.



Be responsible for the development, review, maintenance and implementation of operating frameworks, systems and protocols to monitor, report and enable access for users i.e.

Health & Safety reporting, financial and funding monitoring and reporting, HR records and petty cash.
