Residential Support Worker - Children's Home

A Residential Support Worker role is available working in a children's residential setting with children and young people aged between 11-18, who display emotional behaviour disorders.

You will be expected to display a positive attitude, empathy and display yourself as an appropriate role model.

Responsibilities of the Residential Support Worker



  • Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.

  • Display yourself as an appropriate role model

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience

  • Encourage positive life experiences for the children


Requirements of the Residential Support Worker:



  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Children and Young People's Workforce (desirable)

  • Experience working in a residential setting or experience working with young people who demonstrate challenging behaviour (EBD)

  • Commitment to completing training and qualifications

  • Ensuring to maintain the company values and regulations

  • Clean UK driving license

  • Commitment to work sleep-in's, weekends, long days, and weekdays


Location: Lanark


Salary: £16,000 - £19,000 (plus £6552 for sleep-in duties)


Role: Full-time, permanent
