New Business Development - IT Sales

A leading client is currently seeing an individual who has experience of winning new business within the technology sector focusing on petroleum and the convenience market.

This is a sales role and it would be ideal if you have worked for a company that produces technology which you have then sold within this market.


The main requirements of this role are:


• Seek out new business opportunities within defined guidelines and timescales

• Deliver consistently against targets

• Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities to underpin target achievement

• Ensure that all pipeline activity is accurately recorded and updated within the database

• Thoroughly research and understand individual market sectors to identify potential customer targets

• Accurately forecast sales by month and quarter

• Demonstrate the companies product and services suite clearly and differentiate the companies offering with in the market

• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms as required and in line with company guidelines

• Ensure all customers receive a professional handover between Sales and Service/Support

• Understands the value of developing leads and contacts through cold calling when necessary



This is a field based sales role and you will be given a generous basic of £45k plus OTE £25K plus company car and Fuel card.

You have the option to work from home, carrying out client visits to your prospective new business.

It will be your responsibility to generate leads and turn them into actual revenue.
