Analytical QC Manager


ANALYTICAL QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER - WILTSHIRE - Up to £55,000




A leading bio-pharmaceutical organisation are currently recruiting for an Analytical QC Manager to join their facility based in Wiltshire on a permanent basis.




Reporting to the Head of Quality Control, the core function of the role will be to lead and manage a team engaged in Analytical chemistry testing, in line with regulatory requirements, safety standards and budget constraints.

The role will involve ensuring all testing is carried out with appropriately developed, validated and approved methods, ensuring facilities are maintained, recruitment of staff, leading training, appraisals and mentoring of staff, as well as coaching and mentoring members of the Analytical Chemistry testing group.

The successful candidate will act as the lead expert on analytical methodology.



To be considered for the role candidates will need to be Degree educated with substantial knowledge and understanding of MHRA and FDA regulatory requirements in relation to QC.

The successful applicant will be required to have extensive management experience of pharmaceutical QC laboratories, experience of in process and final product QC testing, GMP quality system experience and significant knowledge of analytical method development and validation.

Biopharmaceutical experience or knowledge would be highly advantageous.




The role is based in the Wiltshire area and is commutable from Salisbury, Andover, Bath, Swindon, Winchester and the surrounding areas.
