About the Role


Are you a Qualified Chef looking for an opportunity to take your career to the next step as a Head Chef or a Head Chef looking for a sea change? Then this may be the perfect role for you.

Working with an enthusiastic team of kitchen, floor and bar staff.

This role is a permanent full-time position working across split shifts 5-6 days a week.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Preparing and cooking Bistro food

  • Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

  • Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and kitchen and waiting staff

  • Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

  • Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

  • Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment

  • Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

  • Estimating food costs and ordering food supplies

  • Staff Management


Skills and Experience



  • Qualified Chef Certification or extensive experience

  • Experience working in a fast paced restaurant environment

  • Must have knowledge of meal costing

  • Ability to work as part of a team
