Salary circa up to £28k depending on experience


Bromley Court Hotel has a magnificent 200-year history and has been privately owned by the same family since 1931.

Offering comfortable surroundings with 117 modern bedrooms, extensive Conference & Banqueting facilities, up to 90 Weddings per year and an established Restaurant delivering superb food.


We pride ourselves without personal service to all our guests whether they are business travelers or visiting us for a special occasion.


We are currently looking for a Food and Beverage Operations Manager who will have total responsibility for the day to day operations of the Food and Beverage Department.

Ensuring consistently high standards of service and maximum guest satisfaction.


We are looking for an operational manager with a very “hands on” approach.

You will predominantly be working on the floor with the supervisory team leading by example.


You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a professional manner, with the ability to display excellent customer service skills, leading by example.


Experience in Food and Beverage service management in quality hotels including operational experience in all food and beverage departments including Meetings and Events, large Banqueting and Weddings.

This position will involve some Duty Management responsibilities.


To ensure the completion of accurate monthly stocktaking, weekly ordering, pricing checks and strategy along with the appropriate action being taken to achieve results.


Responsible for all staff training ensuring that SOPs are maintained and followed.


You will need to achieve improved budgeted revenues maximizing profitability, controlling department expenses including liquor costs most importantly payroll efficiency of the department.


Carrying out performance reviews for direct reports and setting personal development plans.

You will be a natural motivator with a team building spirit.


You will be responsible for all Health and Safety and Food Safety issues with the Food and Beverage Department.

It will be essential for you to hold the Level 3 Hygiene Certificate.


Working closely with Head Chef to implement seasonal trends.

Help to formulate menus and price lists.

Work closely with all HODs especially Meeting and Events to ensure 100% operational perfection for guests.

A good knowledge of wines and spirits and passion for good quality food is essential.

You will have extensive operational experience in hospitality with several years working in the hotel industry.
