Facilities Energy Manager

Our client in NHS are looking for facilities energy manager to aid with a new project in the Staffordshire/Shropshire area.

Rate of Pay: 40,000-42,000 per annum
Length of Cover: 3-6 Months
Location: Stafford/Shropshire
Lead on and be responsible for production of an up to date energy and water policy
Including any associated SOP's
, Lead on monitoring energy and water usage and reporting thereon.
, Lead on and be responsible for achieving energy and water reduction targets
, Directorate lead for sustainability, including responsibility for producing the Trusts
Sustainable Management Plan.
, Champion energy and water initiatives for the directorate training (internal and
Partners), agenda briefings, presentations, internal media briefings, etc
, Responsible for energy and water reduction campaigns
, Ensure all sites (inc.

out of area) have the best value for money utility / tariff contracts in
Place.
, Lead on the directorates Building Management System(s) (BMS) requirements.

This
includes contracts & performance, controls strategies, replacement / upgrade specification
requirements, business cases, training, scheme project management, etc)
, Organise and Chair Management Groups in areas of Lead / AP / RP responsibilities to
ensure compliance requirements are fulfilled.
, Directorate link to IT for any telephone utility issues.
, Manage energy efficiency schemes including writing business cases, specifications,
tender preparation and assessment, project management, etc (e.g.

lighting upgrades,
insulation improvements, control upgrades, etc)
, Undertake building surveys to inform energy and water requirements, asset
condition, etc.
, Responsible for ensuring all energy and water related compliance is in place - e.g.
Display Energy Certificates (DECS), Air Conditioning, etc.
, Provide compliance and budget reports periodically as required
, Ensure all role requirements for CQC/PAM and HTMs are fulfilled and reported on
, Provide energy and utility information as required for national
and other reporting mechanisms e.g.

ERIC, PAM, CQC, Finance,
Service Line Reporting etc
, Lead on maintaining robust utility contracts across the remit to ensure statutory and
NHS compliance
staff.
