Accounts Assistant & Accounts Administrator

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT & ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR – SPALDING – UP TO £25.000 BASIC SALARY + BENEFITS

Our client is a business services company operating within the utilities sector.

Serving many of the UK’s leading property management companies, our client provides outsourced billing invoice verification and bought ledger support services.

Due to their continued success they now require both an Accountants Assistant and an Accountants Administrator to work from our clients Spalding office which offers an excellent working environment and future career opportunities.

The Role


  • As an Accounts Assistant/Administrator you will assist the Accounts team with the day to day running of the department
  • Supporting with the management accounts
  • Ensuring accounts are reconciled
  • Helping clean data
  • Carry out forecasting and reporting
  • Ad-hoc analysis and project work
  • Working from our clients Spalding office

Key Skills and Experience Required


  • The successful Assistant/Administrator must have similar experience & accountancy background
  • Ideally have Management Accounts or Bought Ledger experience
  • Have leadership skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel.  Vlookups a must.
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task
  • Someone who can spot an error a mile off
  • Inquisitive but able to think on their feet.
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Fast paced worker
  • Organised
  • Focused
  • Some data analysis experience helpful but not essential
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Spalding, Lincolnshire office
