Downstream Process Development Scientist

We are currently looking for a Downstream Process Development Scientist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area.

As the Downstream Process Development Scientist you will be responsible for developing downstream processes for antibody purification.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Downstream Process Development Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1.

Provide process development support for projects such as pilot material for toxicology studies

2.

The Downstream Process Development Scientist will endeavour to find process improvements to current methodologies through working cross functionally with internal and external partners

3.

Keep a high level of record keeping and documentation

4.

Report scientific findings to project teams (Including presentations and written reports)

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Downstream Process Development Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1.

Relevant degree in a Scientific discipline (Or similar)

2.

Proven industry experience working in the Biopharmaceutical industry

3.

A working knowledge and practical experience with protein therapeutics, purification or analysis
