Business Development Manager (IT)

Our client is currently looking for a Business Development Manager within the IT/Technical industry.

The BDM will build on existing sales and business skills and will be involved in building customer relationships and taking control of the sales process from prospecting to delivery.

Duties would include meeting with existing customers and prospective customers, negotiating, prospecting for work, developing leads, closing sales and liaising through to delivery and beyond.

You will be expected to have a strong input with regards to marketing the business and brand awareness.

The role covers a wide range of services: IT Support, Backup, Website Design & Build, Hosting, SEO, Telecoms & Telephone Systems, Apple Macintosh and Smart Systems, technology must be of interest to you! The ideal candidate must be confident when dealing with customers and colleagues and have excellent communication skills.

The role will involve anything from answering sales calls, cold calling to dealing with customer on all levels.

Ideally applicants should be able to show success in a past sales or relevant role.
