Lead Nurse

Main duties and Leadership
- Lead on the continuing development of a quality improvement culture using evidenced based interventions to best meet evolving service user needs
- - Work with the CGG Chair and SMT to set the annual clinical governance strategy and lead on relevant work streams
- Nominated Care Quality Commission (CQC) organisation lead
- Named designated Safeguarding lead (This post will operate at Level 5 - Intercollegiate document alongside other members of SMT)
- Develop clinical leadership roles within each service/Directorate through the operational line
- Provide professional advice and guidance to practitioners (clinical and non-clinical), ensuring that practice is of a high standard, in line with national guidance.


- Responsible for the development, approval, management and review process of Patient Group Directions (PGDs), including competency framework.

You must have a Background In: Predominantly Community Young Person's and families experience in delivering psychoeducation, therapeutic psychosocial and/or pharmacological interventions.

Either in substance misuse, sexual health or mental health services
