Import Customer Service Coordinator

As part of their growth strategy and new contracts coming onboard, they are looking to recruit a number of import / Customs professionals to their existing forwarding team.

The Role:

As part of the freight forwarding team, you will be responsible for collating shipping documentation, claiming UCNs, classifying cargo to its correct HMRC tariff codes and completing Customs entries for cargoes arriving both directly into the Port & throughout the UK.

Previous import/export experience, knowledge of visual broker, CNS and MCP inventory systems, HMRC, DEFRA and Port Health requirements is desirable, but the company is happy to train candidates in any areas they have not had previous exposure to

The core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with remote cover, I weekend in 4 from home (can be flexible with this).

Essential Criteria:



* Previous shipping / freight experience.


* Good customer services skills


* Good IT knowledge


Desirable Criteria:



* Customs entry experience
